Dr. Stuart Markovitz, MD

  • Dr. Stuart Markovitz earned his BA degree from Washington and Jefferson College and graduated from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 1978. He completed his specialty training in Internal Medicine at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco and then practiced Internal Medicine in the Silicon Valley for 35 years before opening Charleston Men's Clinic.

  • Stacey grew up surrounded by medicine, inspired by her father, Dr. Markovitz, whose dedication to patient care left a lasting impression. While studying business, she developed strong skills in management and strategy but realized her true passion lies in healthcare. She became deeply invested in ensuring patients not only receive exceptional care but also feel valued and supported. This journey led her to pursue certifications in aesthetics and wellness, combining her skills and passion to make a meaningful impact.

    A dedicated healthcare professional, she studied at Radford University and is a proud third-generation nurse. Growing up in Richmond Virginia she has an early introduction to aesthetics from her mother and then further honed her expertise through six years of experience in the Emergency Department, followed by an additional year in the ICU and is not. Her commitment to patient care and extensive clinical knowledge reflect her passion for the nursing profession.

Chris Rowland,

Director of First Impressions

  • A Charleston native, he holds an associate degree in Health Sciences and attended Trident Technical College’s nursing program. His diverse background includes experience in the emergency department, a radiology clinic, an insurance company, and another men’s clinic. Known for his warm, welcoming nature, he’s easy to talk to and always makes patients feel comfortable.

  • His specialties include phlebotomy, focused linear compression treatments, administering injections, and assisting with a variety of medical procedures.

  • His long term partner also works in healthcare as a pharmacist, he’s a fan of cheesy 80s movies, and he helps oversee the care of his elderly mother.

  • He joined Charleston Men's Clinic in Spring 2024, bringing over 11 years of healthcare experience. As a Marine Corps veteran, he is dedicated to serving the community. He and his wife are expecting a baby.
